ReplyDeleteMisha, definitely my favorite tree thus far. Sweetly stylized and reminiscent of classic 70s posters, and in wonderful green tones. The little sapling (?) on the ground is a great touch, with its heart centre and a high hope factor.
Bravo!
Well, geez, here I am with a sweet and up comment, and the captcha is "humphogr" !!!
This is really beautiful. I love the variety of art forms you have found to express your love of trees with!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the little flower you included growing! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Madonna. I had a lot of fun doing this one, though my hand was cramping by the end.
ReplyDeleteI think it's safe to say that we'll be seeing more word-trees over the course of this year. I'm enjoying them too much to think otherwise.
Thanks again for loving this one up!
Beth ~ one of the reasons I'm enjoying your blog so much is because I'm a big fan of words.
ReplyDeletewords n' trees
trees n' words
Here's to 'em!
Rick ~ love the quote.
ReplyDeleteReminiscent of the classic 70's posters - hmmm, I hadn't actually noticed but you're right. It's in my DNA I think. Are all children of the 60's prone to this? Rhetorical question because, of course, it really doesn't matter. Live and let live, doncha know? :)
That little sapling is a hybrid (I think). It began as my signature for the piece (the stem spells MISHA) and is a cross between a seedling and a flower. A feedling?
Not sure what to make of your Captcha, other than the fact that it made me laugh and somehow reminds me of Frogger.
Hope your weekend has been kind to you, my friend.
Stace & Wendy ~ big thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis journey is a delightful challenge made all the more interesting in the sharing.
:)
I love this! What's the medium?
ReplyDeleteHi Kayleena :)
ReplyDeleteThis was done with ink on paper, then it went for a digital dip for the embossing and green gold hues.
Thanks for checking it out.
