Today's post is a collaboration which began in the creative mind of PrixMadonna over on her 365 day project, The Happy Homemaker. Be sure to check out her post. The results will be fun!
And then...on a whim yesterday, one of my dearest friends, Rick, sent me one of his amazing tree photos for my digital play. He was unaware of the collaboration I was already mulling over.
The two became one.
His ultra-curvy, delicious photo met up with some digital painting and acquired a tree house, or three:
house drawing ~ The Happy Homemaker
digital collage ~ Misha
music ~ Jeff Beck and Friends "guitar, piano, sax jam"
Sexy...I love it :)
ReplyDeleteWow. I really like how you incorporated the two! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWow, really? I wasn't going for sexy. Guess that'll teach me not to add music I can't remember more about other than the fact that I love the piece! This is extra surprising because the music was originally paired with another blog of mine which mostly featured the flora and fauna of the Cincinnati Zoo. ha :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it, Paige.
Thanks, Wendy. It was fun. I'm really looking forward to seeing the other collaborations that result.
ReplyDeleteI thought you'd get a kick out of that ;) It was my initial reaction :) The music is sultry to me...I almost felt the trees snaking around and of course...homemakers are sexy ♥ It was open for interpretation, right?
ReplyDeleteabsolutely :)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful meld of varying components. Storybook-ish in the best way, and of course as you know, Jeff Beck is why I play guitar in the first place, so I can't not love this day's offering.
ReplyDeleteStorybookish ~ love it. I would like to read that tale. How many tree houses do you think there are here? 8?
ReplyDeleteThank you for inspiring this melding into becoming what it is with your whimsical sharing.
:)
Love it! (And I agree that it is sexy with the music and the sinuous branches.) I will be posting all the collaborations on Friday. Thanks for collaborating with me, Misha!
ReplyDeleteThe collaboration was absolutely my pleasure. I'm really looking forward to seeing the other pieces!
