"I sometimes wonder if the hand is not more sensitive to the beauties of sculpture than the eye. I should think the wonderful rhythmical flow of lines and curves could be more subtly felt than seen. Be this as it may, I know that I can feel the heart-throbs of the ancient Greeks in their marble gods and goddesses."
~ Helen Keller
A wonderful photo and treatment. The curve of the tree suggests a little dance move being tried out, just for the fun of it. Or perhaps a true individualist, non-conformist, ultra cool specimen. The Keller quote is aptly chosen. Another fine post, Misha.
ReplyDeleteNot surprisingly, my original thought was to make this post about individuality or dancing. Helen seemed to be and do both with such heart. I love the image of her feeling those heart-throbs.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Rick.
