day 133 ~ friends

Several years ago, I did a series on Myspace which featured inspiring friends of mine. The project was entitled, "Luminaries". It was one of my first forays into digital photo manipulation. I've been hooked ever since.

Yesterday, I was looking for a blank page in one of my sketch books and I came upon an unfinished drawing of my friend, Rick, and his beloved feline pal, Ella.

I decided to finish it:

  1. I.

Pretty much rendered mute, actually. Your timing is impeccable, as Ella is getting quite old and her mama (Deborah) is probably moving to the UK with her (and Zippy the feline, Mystic the mini-pinscher)... so my visiting times will be drawing to a close. I would love to have this (top image) in a rectangle pendant. Did I just type that? Yes, I did.

    Thank you, Michelle. Amazing friend.

  2. You're welcome, Rick.

As you were here commenting, I was sending the two full size files to you. If you upload the one you want as a pendant to our Flickr account, it will serve as a reminder for me. (Reminders are key these days.)

Glad this was well timed, and so glad to call you 'friend'.
