One tree. Every day. For one year. This is an homage. This is a celebration. This is a hope
for raising awareness, and reverence. Symbiotic: to our very roots, and our branches ~
My girl and I have been singing Beatles' tunes this AM. Could be a good time to try out our rendition of Yellow Submarine? Then again, what could be better than an octopus' garden in the shade? Decisions. Decisions.
I love Ellen in just about anything, but especially as Dory. How many people on this planet now speak whale because of her?! If that's not success, I don't know what is.
The first time I "saw" Finding Nemo, I actually didn't see it. We borrowed my in-law's reliable van with a built in DVD player for a trip because our truck was trying to break down. Anyway, it was right after Christmas and one of the kids had gotten Finding Nemo as a gift, so they watched it in the van. You should have seen me stretching and craning my neck (I wasn't the driver) to try to see what on EARTH was going on as she began talking whale! I thought I was going to hurt myself, I was laughing so hard. I still crack up during that scene. We all speak whale and say "escape" ess-cap-ayyy (especially when we see a Ford Escape on the road.) I'm smiling now! Thanks!
We tried to watch this last night but our player (or the disk) kept messing up. We were sorely disappointed. Only made it to Bruce smelling blood. "Intervention!"
Was that the Nautilus I just saw back there? Love this one, too, Misha.

Oh, I really love this one. Thought I commented earlier, but it never appeared.
ReplyDeleteA black hole or hiding with Nemo? Either way, thanks Leslie!
