One tree. Every day. For one year. This is an homage. This is a celebration. This is a hope
for raising awareness, and reverence. Symbiotic: to our very roots, and our branches ~
Wendy, I decided yesterday that mashed potatoes are like a little hug from the inside. If there was a Most Comforting Comfort Food contest, they would surely be one of the top contenders? Fortunately for my waist line, my daughter doesn't care for them, so I don't make them very often.
Amy, trees *are* everywhere, just look at Heather's wrists! :)
When I saw this one, I thought that maybe all of the potato slices were sporting trees, but they were all different. I think this tree found me, because that was a lot of potato slices and it never dawned on me to be on the lookout for trees.
Tree ninjas?! I've been a little "off" this week, not quite myself, could it be the tree ninjas? If so, they sure are stealthy. Lucky for me that you came along and clued a sister in!
Love it. Hug a tree, eat a tree, have it both ways. I wouldn't want to peel a tree, though. Not only would it be cruel, but so exhausting. Unless it was a west coast Arbutus after shedding its bark, at which point it would be boring.
Rick, has anyone told you lately just how talented you are in the realm of Zip and Zing? Well, you are.
Arbutus: one of my very favorites. Maybe you can take another trip out west and send a photo my way for Mishaization?
And about that security word, two things:
1.) "autdolor" brings to mind automatic doors of some yet to be discovered color.
2.) You know that old saying, "Third time's a charm"? Well, this is the third time you've made me laugh over mentioning a bit of the minutia which makes life so rich and I think that entitles me to bestow upon you an informal 365 project. (ha!) Please report each every on your visits here. Definitions are worth bonus points! Of course, participation is optional, though, I strongly suspect you are up for the challenge.
It still counts! :)
ReplyDeleteMmmmm....mashed potatoes!
I love that you looked and found it! Trees are everywhere!
