One tree. Every day. For one year. This is an homage. This is a celebration. This is a hope for raising awareness, and reverence. Symbiotic: to our very roots, and our branches ~
What a beautiful post. The quotes are terrific, the chant music is apropos, and I happen to adore hiking and very long walks. Which leads me to these delightful tree varieties. They all speak, and for this day I am loving that black and white specimen. Superb texture! Have a great weekend, Misha, and thank you for this blog project of yours.
I'm with you on the black and white one. It was the impetus for posting multiple versions. I like the happy orange, too.e.e. cummings speaks truth for me and I think I may have to adopt that Galileo quote as my creed for attempting this blog in the midst of the chaos that is my life.I'm getting antsy for a long walk. It's the sunshine and this long, long winter. Now if only I could find the time.Wishing you a wondrous weekend, Rick, and ever grateful for you taking the time each day to share this project with me.
I love these. I can't decide which I like best. I do like the first bronze-y one. It reminded me of a woman dancing, or fire.
Most of my tree paintings (digital or otherwise) turn out looking like women dancing. It's the 'me' in 'tree' ~ I think. Thanks, Angie.:)
