Chuang Tzu, the great Taoist master, once dreamt that he was a fluttering butterfly. In the dream, he was only a butterfly and did not have any awareness of his individuality as a person. He awoke suddenly and found himself laying there, once again a person. He thought to himself, “Was I before a man who dreamt about being a butterfly, or am I now a butterfly who dreams of being a man?”

Thanks for such soothing words. I had a video chat with my son and both my husband and I have some peace of mind.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder if I am dreaming specially when I acheive good results. Also when I lost my cousins to an auto accident, man--- did I wish that, that was only a nightmere.
The roots and trunk of the tree remind me of a dragon. <3
ReplyDeleteMunir, so glad to hear that you have found some peace of mind. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very realistic dream, perhaps. I'm sorry about your cousins. I know exactly what you mean, that having to remember grief each morning upon waking.
I didn't see the dragon until you pointed it out, Heather. Very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty. It looks like a kimono pattern.
ReplyDeleteAnother treat from Krohn Conservatory gone digital. They have a beautiful Bonsai Room there.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Krohn's!
ReplyDeleteAunt Jo!
ReplyDeleteMe too :)
Fabulous weaving to create this visual. I love Bonsai trees; there is a gorgeous large version in Victoria's Chinatown that blew me away. I have the photo in Flickr somewhere and this reminds me to seek it out.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing it, Rick!
