For your Monday ~ a quiet place.
Rest awhile.
Take heart in those tiny feet, the branches, the winged seeds…
(I couldn't decide between the two, so you get both.)

Two are always better than one. I used to love to drawpictures of a butterfly as a kid. Now sometimes I make a butterfly on a cake using crinkles.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! I'm especially partial to the first the way the color is coming through the glass.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you told me where this was photographed because I was dreaming up stuff about this butterfly fluttering in, relaxing on your chandelier as you wrote and illustrated more fairy tales:)
Munir ~ do you ever draw them now? As soon as I read your comment, I was taken with the need to see you drawing butterflies. :)
ReplyDeleteAmy ~ drat! Keep dreaming! As sweet as Krohn is, I like your version better.

Both are gorgeous, and I give a favor nod to the sublime color shot, with prismatic oooh aaahhh going on within.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rick. I agree, but had to include the monochromatic shot too because I like how it all blends together into a visual maze of sorts.
