One tree. Every day. For one year. This is an homage. This is a celebration. This is a hope
for raising awareness, and reverence. Symbiotic: to our very roots, and our branches ~
Heidi, the wee ones in the family are loving the trees, but find the tedious and often painful twisting of branches to be a bit much for their small hands. The best part about the baby redwood is that my son just simply didn't have more twisting left in him.
My daughter, on the other hand, pulls me in to do her trunk and roots. Hers are so girlie: very pink and whimsical. Coming soon to a blog near you, I'm sure!
"Jains" followers of Jainism do not wear shoes in spring on grass as they do not want to hurt the seedlings.
ReplyDeleteEnchanting! I see the forest is well under way... ;) (nice work by your boy)
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the fact that you had family participation in this one...and they look beautiful. "Enchanting Forest," indeed!
ReplyDeleteMunir, that is a lovely gentleness.
ReplyDeleteRick, yes and yes! :)
