Yesterday, I awoke not the least bit interested in creating a 238th tree. I stayed in bed for a few extra minutes thinking about what I could do to make the project more interesting to me again, less of a chore and more of an adventure like it was in the beginning. Alas, I am not a morning person and the answer remained elusive..
The only thought that came to mind was that I should start looking for trees in unexpected places. I'm not entirely sure how to interpret this or if anything will eventually come of it...
Fortunately for me, yesterday's 238th post came easily after all, as it is very easy for me to get excited about Oui.
I suppose this inability to plan out something I ultimately wish to keep fluid illustrates yet another lesson learned during this yearlong endeavor: Patiently, take it all one day at a time.
And so, today, I continue towing the line:
toes & towing ~ misha
I really like this.
ReplyDeleteI definitely struggle sometimes, too!
I am there too... I just want to roar & say enough already. Perhaps we should come up with a group challenges again to shake it up a little. Thoughts? I really, really like this tree! Gambate Misha!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for it, Beth. Maybe one of us should post an invitation for brainstorming?
ReplyDeleteHad to look up gambate, which is wonderfully appropriate given that you are Word Girl. (Have you seen that children's show on PBS? It's a good one.)
Thanks, Tara. I borrowed my daughter's glittering blue nail polish. It makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteYou toed the fun line with this one, oh creative Misha! It's a long haul, that year of dailies, but you are using those painted tree-adorned feet to kick butt, even if it doesn't always feel that way. When you finish the year, I think we should have some kinda cyber party for you.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool one!
ReplyDeleteI've been kind of unmotivated lately. I'm not sure that I'd be able to come up with a challenge idea when I can't come up with an idea for myself.
*now I am off to look gambate up*
I like the idea of using the juxtaposition of our 365 subjects in unexpected, even manipulated environments. This is great Misha!
ReplyDeleteI like it too, Amy. Especially the DREAMY version you detailed over on FB.
ReplyDeleteHey Rick, I'm all for that party. You are in charge of the Sleeman's & Cheezies, okay? :)
Ange, did you read Amy's idea over on FB on the 365 group's page? I love it. I'm still not feeling super motivated to dive right in, but am going to put the ideas on a slow simmer and see what results. Maybe we should set a dedicated week? That might help me make a go of it. What do you think?
I'm getting a bit weary of the obligation myself at times. I feel like at least we're in the home stretch!
ReplyDeleteI think this picture is quite clever.
ah yes, the home stretch!
