day 71 ~ if you kiss a tree...

if you kiss a tree
don't be surprised if you sprout wings

(or get an ant in your mouth)

Life has me chasing my own tail. I'm really looking forward to catching up with all of you and your lovely creations. Thank you for all of the wonderful comments on the past few posts. I'm looking forward to catching up with you there too!

Hope your week is TREEting you kindly. (That play on words brought to you by my seven year old girl! She is standing behind me and making me laugh. :)

  1. Oh that is so cute, Treeting us right! She sounds like a very smart girl.
I know my mom used to kiss little plants. Both my parents loved trees and plants. Whenever their graft would be successful my dad wised he could kiss them.

  2. My daughter got so excited about this picture! They learned about butterflies last fall, and she knew instantly what kind this was!

  3. daughters and giggles ~ who could ask for anything more?

    :D

Heather, my guess is that this is one of those Blue Morphos which played so hard to get with me (for years) and will only open its gorgeous wings when I'm not ready, but I will gladly defer to your daughter's expertise. I love when my children get excited about what they've learned. Hugs to yours. :)

  7. And the father, see the "image notes" regarding the date the original pic was taken.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, or so they say.
